There was a
man called Elijah. God wanted to give him a message. God wanted him to listen. "How can I hear God speak?" said
Elijah.
Elijah listened to the wind. The wind blew the leaves on the trees. The wind shook the branches. The wind was very loud. But Elijah did not hear God speak.

There was a big noise. It was very loud. It was an earthquake!
"Now I will hear God speak," said Elijah. The earthquake is very loud. God will speak now."

Everything was still. Everything was quiet. There was no noise at all. Elijah
listened. He was very still. He was very quiet. Elijah heard God speak. God gave Elijah a message for the people.
