Timelines:

Because Biblical stories and passages are studies under the themes of the character and nature of God, the Bible will not be studies in the sequential order of the books of the Bible. It is therefore suggested that students become familiar with the Biblical time line, so that as stories and passages are studies, they can identify and mark the time period in which they occurred.

Timeline 1
Instructions for timeline:
Print out and cut each A4 page in two. Join half pages together in a long strip.
Students can use this as a working document, using a highlighter to mark off stories as they are covered throughout the year. Students can then see where the stories occurred in history. Note that this is not a timeline of when books of the Bible were written, but a timeline of events and accounts of major characters in the Bible.

Timeline 2
This is a simplified visual timeline of world history from a Biblical perspective.
